The forum will be hosted the Kenyan government and organized The forum will be hosted by the Kenyan Government, through the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology.

It is organized by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Union (AU), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).

Partners of the Forum also include the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), Microsoft , T2 Venture Capital, the Global Innovation Summit , the Global Knowledge Initiative, Youth associations, Youth focused Non-Government Organization and the World Association of Young Scientists (WAYS). /
